An independent engineering practice.

MNM is an independent sole trader based in Australia · remote-first, covering infrastructure, automation and application engineering - the work other teams don't have the time or in-house skills for.

My background is in programming, and it spans both sides of modern software delivery. On the platform side: Linux, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS - provisioning, GitOps, CI/CD, IAM and security, plus the automation and data pipelines that digitise the manual parts of a business. On the application side: backends and microservices, mobile and web apps, store releases, SDK upgrades and user support - run end to end.

Working for myself means I can take on whatever fits - a single task, a migration, an automation project, or full ongoing ownership of a platform. Flexible by nature; the through-line is shipping something that actually runs.

Independent

I run my own practice and work with a range of clients, bringing an outside perspective without the overhead of a hire.

End to end

I take ownership of the outcome, from first scoping through to the parts nobody enjoys: upgrades, patching and support.
